DMV SECURITY STATEMENT

WARNING: Unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse of Department of Motor Vehicles data may result in adverse action and or criminal prosecution.

All investigation documents contain privileged and confidential content and are to be considered personal and confidential, at no time are any documents to be shared with any other party without prior written consent by the company.

All investigations documents are to be destroyed by accepted methods, once legitimate use has ended, the method of destruction shall be in a manner that it cannot be reproduced or identified in any physical or electronic form.

Failure to adhere to these policies can result in termination, suspension and or criminal prosecution.

INVESTIGATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  • Assignment receipt. If you have not received all checked documents or you don't receive a case assignment of notification of a day off, notify your supervisor immediately! If you have received another investigator's case assignment, forward the assignment to the proper investigator and notify your supervisor immediately! Any and all work efforts pertaining to this section must be reflected on your payroll sheet .
  • 2-man team / trainee coordination. It is mandatory for the 2nd investigator to contact the primary investigator prior to surveillance to discuss case and meeting place / time. If unable to contact, both investigators will arrive at assigned location no later than 6:30 am weekdays or 7:30 am weekends /holidays. Trainees must contact a supervisor for direction. Any and all efforts in regards to compliance to this section must be recorded properly on your payroll sheet .
  • Inspect cases are mandatory. As per policy, a report must be completed in reference to any inspects and any and all time spent performing this task must be recorded properly on your payroll sheet .
  • Medical and Deposition Pick-ups. If not starting surveillance at the MED OR DEPO, etc., always call office before proceeding to the MED / DEPO, etc., unless tailing CL.
  • Safety and Insight. Company policy states that it is mandatory to review insight notes from prior investigative report. If insufficient, contact the previous investigator prior to surveillance. Do not work case if sufficient insight is not provided and notify your supervisor immediately! Any and all time and effort performed in order to complete this task must be recorded on your payroll sheet.
